The brief of this project was to design curtains that fitted into the well known and well loved scheme of the Chiltern Firehouse restaurant as if they’d always been there. We took inspiration from the simple utilitarian materials used in the original Edwardian building, using rust corduroy and natural linens. For detailing we left the selvedges exposed and inserted strips of Broderie Anglaise.
