The geometric nature of the lace we used on these blinds suggested a very linear design, hence the repeating lines of vintage narrow lace tape. We also experimented with the translucency of the textiles, using both cut outs and layering of the lace panels – seen to best effect in the difference between how the blinds look during that day and after dark.
